Description:

The Great Eugen v. Groblock Revue is a reading event that features individual literary performances by various guest writers, set in the casual intimacy of a beer and candlelit evening. The aim of the design was to give a face to the particular mix of the familiar coziness of the venue – a traditional Berlin local pub – and the wide variety of the presentations. The result was in keeping with the theme of storytelling: The visuals are analogous to the dramaturgy of the evening’s reading. This is conveyed through the creation of a quirky still-life, where each motif in the series tells a short story of its own, leaving the viewer thoughtful or amused.
